By accessing or using the APEC website (www.apecanada.ca) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
2. About APEC
APEC (Association of Pakistani Engineers in Canada) is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-religious, and non-political voluntary professional organization based in Calgary, Alberta. APEC is not affiliated with or associated with any political party or government body.
3. Membership
Membership is subject to APEC's bylaws. Annual membership fees are non-refundable. Members must abide by APEC's bylaws and objectives. APEC reserves the right to suspend or expel members by majority vote for cause, as outlined in the bylaws.
4. Events & Tickets
Membership fees and donations are processed securely through Stripe, and event tickets are sold through our third-party ticketing provider, each subject to their own terms and conditions. APEC is not responsible for issues arising from third-party payment processors. Event details, dates, and pricing are subject to change.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including the APEC logo, text, and images — is the property of APEC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.
6. Limitation of Liability
APEC is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from use of our website or services. We provide information "as is" without warranty of any kind.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. In case of any contradiction, the Alberta Societies Act shall supersede these terms.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
